Refurbishment and extension.

The project involved the complete refurbishment of a residential building and its extension with the addition of a new entrance volume and a bioclimatic greenhouse.

The new entrance acts as a showcase for the entire house, its opening creates a frame around the wall facing the street.

The bioclimatic greenhouse brings climatic improvement and enlarges the house with a hybrid space between the inside and the outside, an environment that combines the comfort typical of indoor rooms with the light and airy atmosphere of a garden.

The building was transformed also by painting a part of the façade.

Summarising, the project transformed the building in terms of energy performance, space, colours and the liveability of the interiors.
